Origin currently has a holiday sale, but they're obviously not included. Known as 'Overlord', the pack will have players trying to fight against an enemy AI through a laboratory. The bundles don't include the main game, but considering how often they go on sale, it's not really a big issue.Įach bundle comes with other goodies like the soundtrack, digital art book, digital comics and so on.Īlthough the bundles are expensive, being on the Origin store means there's potential for them to go on sale at some point. EA's revealed a third Mass Effect 2 premium DLC pack, set for launch next month. The Mass Effect 2 DLC Bundle costs $25, while the Mass Effect 3 bundle is even more expensive at $30 - a total of $55. While you still won't be able to buy each DLC pack individually, you can buy a bundle for either game, though the prices are not cheap. Fans have been pleading with EA to just offer the packs on Origin, and the day has finally come - sort of. This was done on a pretty outdated website, and well out of sight for many. Since the games' initial release (before Origin was a thing in the case of Mass Effect 2), and until today, the only way to purchase the DLC has been through the BioWare store using BioWare Points. If you've ever played Mass Effect games on PC, you will no doubt be well aware that acquiring the DLC for Mass Effect 2 and 3 is not an easy task. Zaeed is only available through the Zaeed The Price of Revenge DLC pack. Part way through he game, you will be given the opportunity to receive training with a new weapon type (shotguns, assault rifles, or sniper rifles). (Fuck EA for making us do this in the first place but its not to bad). The other (two) SMGs in Mass Effect 2 are nearly useless for players to use. Also the dlc bundle goes on sale for like 5 bucks every month so you dont have to mess with bioware points and you get it all safely for not that much money. EA has finally answered the cries of Mass Effect fans on PC, offering the DLC for Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 directly on Origin. However, there is a way to use the Mass Effect 2 DLC bundle with a Steam copy. The main reason I put this on the worth it list is because this DLC adds a new weapon.
